Right, eventful day it was. First off, went to meet Hazwan and Ahmad to play badminton. Unfortunately by the time we started the sun was too freaking hot and we barely played a few rounds before feeling exhausted. But still we continued, but we finally stopped when this happened.

Yep, Ahmad first complained that the racquet was moving by itself but we thought nothing of it but during one rather hard smack the whole racquet flew, right across hazwan's face, just missing him and his double chin by a whisker. Hahaha, after which Hazwan had to go take a smoke to calm his nerves. Imagine a racquet flying at you at that speed. Kinda scary huh.


But anyway the main topic here is..............

This kitten. Yep, its a stray, not that nice looking kitten but its freaking small and active. I first saw some kids mishandling the kitten while "lepak-ing" at Ahmad's house after badmintion. Apparently those boys left the kitten at the dustbin so I decided to bring it to the pet shop near ahmad's house to see if they could take care of it or something. I mean, its so small, you can carry it around with one hand, the mum's nowhere to be found and other kids or some cruel person might find it and torture it or something. I don't know, some people sadistic and kids are just immature in thought to realise that what they do might hurt the animal.

Unfortunately, the Pet Shop lady said there was no space in her shop. There, a girl who saw the cat told us that a family kept the kitten for a few weeks but got tired of it so they decided to get rid of it. Apparently by leaving it at the dustbin. No sense of responsibility whatseover those fucking bastards.

Left with no choice since Ahmad's mum doesn't let him keep a cat, I had to try and sell the kitten's story to my parents and hope that they won't mind keeping it for awhile till we find a better home for it or maybe to keep it permanently.

And yep, I succeeded. So now.........

I have a CAT!

Or a kitten rather......=)

Hahaha, alright then, thats all for now.

Right.........the 3 things I more or less need during those dreary hours in the office. Coffee, sweets and music.

Anyway I tried taking this bus to work today........

Bus 961

Its a direct bus from Woodlands to right outside my workplace. Sounded tempting so I decided to take it to work. Bad mistake. Really REALLY bad mistake. Its the worst bus ride in my entire life I kid you not. The bus is slow moving, there's a lot of stops, where every stop there are definitely passengers alighting or boarding which means its a lot of stop start movement. Not to mention the sheer numbers of traffic lights it has to stop at along the way. The whole journey took 1hour 45 minutes.

Thus I was late for work, with an extremely sore ass, feeling restless and feeling cramped up. I swear I'll never attempt that bus ride ever again. I'd much rather walk backwards from city hall to kallang place while reciting the Singapore pledge over and over again than go through that whole experience again. Hell, I think I'll still reach my work place if I do that before the 961 bus does.

Oh well, its a lesson well and truly learnt.......

Work's boring for now........

All I do is proof read science centre stuff, and by proof reading its not the checking of English but just to check if the article falls under the correct headline. Which is one hell of a boring task. Many a time I just couldn't stand it and dozed off in before the computer. Which thankfully, no supervisor saw...........I hope........

Of course the plus side to this is I learn about science. For example, the White Heads plant can be used to blacken your hair, the Wild cockscomb can stop bleeding of intestines and the Tartarian Aster can ease menstrual pain. Yes, things like these I read. But still, there's only so much of such things I can read before getting dead sleepy.......

Oh and do you know your pupils automatically enlarge when you see the person you love? That's a sure-fire way to keep me awake. Unfortunately for me then, that Mr. Chun Hong ain't my type. LOL

Well this Thursday and Friday should be better, will be heading towards Marina Square to help out with the Science Centre Exhibition which Spacelogic has organized.

I've been hunting high and low for something. Thought I'd head down to IKEA at Pasir Ris after work to see if it was there. Waited damn long for the shuttle bus. Searched the whole of IKEA but nope, its not there. Got kinda irritated with the layout of the place, the signs to the exit leading you one whole round. Thought Courts might have it. Went to search the place.......and once again came up with nothing. Tired out and sleepy from work, I thought of heading towards the bus stop to go home but thought, what the hell, lets just try Giants.

AND!!!!..........................


I still didn't find it.

Such a waste of time. Worst of all, just as I left the place and was preparing to cross the road to the bus stop, it rained. HEAVILY. If you've ever been there you'll understand the traffic light is in between the bus stop and IKEA so there was no point running back for shelter. I just had to wait for the traffic light to turn green meanwhile getting drenched completely. Just as if to rub salt into my wounds, I happened to be eating a hot dog bun at that time and it got wet as well. And when I finally got to the bus stop, lo-and-behold, the rain stopped miraculously.

My whole repertoire of swear words flashed across my mind.

Boarded the bus where the bus uncle gave me a very angry look cause I was drenched which I promptly replied back with an equally dirty look. Wasn't in the mood to stand for such nonsense.
And it bloody sucks to know that all this trouble I go through looking for it will in all probability be for nothing.......

Off to bed now, caught a damned cold. Blocked nose and the lot. Anyone want to watch Ratatoutille(spelt correctly?) with me? Seems its a good movie. I'm a sucker for movies with good reviews. But who isn't?

Got back home at 630am, slept at 7am.

WHY? Cause I went to chill with Hazwan and Ahmad at Ahmad's house and started to tell a ghost story. And Hazwan eventually got too scared to go home so we just lepaked all the way till the first train was in service.

Ahahaha was fun though. Learnt some guitar chords basics as well as connecting back with power metal music which I have drifted off from.

Right, off to sleep again now.

Then its off to IPP at Spacelogic.....

I really need to be disciplined.........9-6 everyday at Kallang, from Woodlands it ain't gonna be easy, especially for one like me who can be late for an appointment at Causeway Point.

Well thats all then.......

Exams start tomorrow and yet here I am at my computer, typing out whatever you see right here instead of studying. Why? Cause my HRM book is still wet from the rain(long story), and I have to rely on the powerpoint slides+notes which the good ole OH jek yew sent me. And I just can't seem to be able to study using the computer.... too many distractions here and there. Msn, youtube etc. In fact, I've only just been reading through the notes and not bothering to memorise the points, hoping that by understanding what the notes are trying to say I'll be able to answer the questions. Of course, that hope is based on the exams questions not requiring you to state key words or something along those lines.

Went to Ahmad's house yesterday to "lepak" with Hazwan and Ahmad. Half the time was spent eating Ice Cream, potato chips, longans and drinking green tea while talking cock. The other half was spent editing Ahmad's OSIP report and toying around with his friendster/msn account. And bloody hell, through messing around with his msn I think I just got Ahmad a "date" this Thursday. Hahaha whether he'll go through with it is another matter altogther though.

Oh and by the way, I finally found out what Spacelogic does. Its company which designs exhibitions or something to that effect. Apparently for me I'll be involved in some Science Centre exhibition so yeah, hopefully the work will be interesting. Fingers crossed. Tightly.

Did I mention the allowance/pay is a freaking $800(which is high for a intern)?

Soccer on Saturday was at Fernvale again. 161 is such a nice bus ride. I don't know why but I like it. There's hardly any traffic jams, the ride is smooth, only 5 stops from my house to compass point and armed with my mp3 playing my favourite tunes, its a good source of relaxation and I really enjoy the ride. Also..... it doesn't hurt that a certain someone resides in the Sengakang area and there's always gonna be a good chance of meeting that someone when I'm in Sengkang. Especially during the weekends.

Right so thats about all for this post. Rather lengthy and mostly full of ramblings and long windedness crap but this is what happens when I've been editing a report done by a guy who can stretch a 5minutes anecdote into a 2 hour bed time story.
