So long
I've been looking too hard,
I've been waiting too long
Sometimes I don't know what I will find
I only know it's a matter of time

So after a long while I update. Lots of things have happened between the last post and this post. I can't remember all of it and frankly even if I did remember, I'll be too lazy to write it all down.

This past Wednesday marked the end of EMRS and TEP for me. I'm still critical of TEP, I'm still critical of the grading system of TEP and I'm still not in favour of TEP. But what I can't deny, is that during TEP, you make a hell lot of new friends. People you casually knew or didn't even know existed before would become your friend. Moral of the story, boredom brings restless young people like us together. Team 2 and Team 3 is a group by itself, working and having fun together(more of the latter). It was a super fun having you all as teamates and getting to know you all better as friends. So cheers to all, Alex, Ben, Denyse, Ee Wen, Jasmine, Jean, Jun Wen, Li Qin, Pamela, Xue Li and lastly, Wen Hui. Not forgetting the DBI students who were with us for quite some time, Ian, Soon Poh and Qi Qi. As well as "ban luck" leader Shaun and the other people from the rest of the teams. Playing Ping-pong, badminton, monopoly, "ban-luck", the recent new game "texas poker", the old school computer game PUZZLE FIGHTER as well as a whole lot of new stuff we invented to cure our boredom. I look forward to next week's EMRS chalet.

Anyway, at the last day of EMRS, we all had an interesting discussion on the supernatural, the paranormal and to put it in a nutshell, ghostly happenings. Interesting stuff, apparently almost everybody believes in these kind of stuff. Found out about some burnt down house very near Cineleisure which I never knew about. Supposed to be haunted and according to Alex who went there before, there were some, unatural going ons. So me being the sceptic that I am, decided to go check it out on that very day. Met up with Zainal, Jen, Daryl, David and Pussy Ho Teng Fung after dinner with my EMRS mates and brought them to the house. First time we went there, Melvin as well as both Jen and Daryl(my cousin, can you believe it), chickened out and David didn't want to go explore the house with an odd number of people. So we abandoned the plan and went to wait for Jason Lee Pin Pin to finish his work so that we could hang out for awhile at Starbucks. Now, despite the weird name Pin Pin, Jason was damn curious to see and explore the house also. So off we went, once again, to check out the burnt down house. Admittedly, the place looks kind of spooky, its really dark with no lightning and you have to walk a very ulu trail before reaching the place. The house was really in a terrible state, went inside and had to be careful not to fall through and holes in the flooring. Unfortunately(or fortunately), there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Whole experience was quite normal, akin to checking out some piece of history of Singapore. We couldn't find the tombstones that were supposed to be behind the house though. Wonder where it was.........anyway did some research on the net and......
http://www.spi.com.sg/haunted/haunted_houses/soong_sis_houses.htm
Thats the house we visited. Lol, have a good read.

Now I for one do not believe in such things as ghosts. However, I do believe in Demons and the Devil Satan, and because I was brought up in a Christian household, I also have a reasoning for all these "ghosts". I think its actually the Devil playing on your fears and Satan using your fear as a tool against you. Now what I say may not sit well with some of you, but hell, these are my beliefs. So ya, now you know why I am such a sceptic of things like ghosts. Oh yeah, of course black magic I believe in. If you invite demons into your life by playing with things like Ouija boards or praticing black magic, then yeah, you're bloody asking for it.

Anyway, its a nice 1 month holiday for me now. What shall I do? Should I look for a part time job to earn some cash? Maybe I should just stay at home and grow lots of fats. Maybe even turn into a full time geek playing Dota everyday and calling people online noobs. Lol, actually my plan would be to turn into a fit machine by the end of the holidays. After playing a soccer match last Sunday, I realised that I'm no longer as fit as I once was. I used to be able to run up and down the field without any problems but lately, due to TEP, where eating and sitting around doing no physical exercise is second nature to you, I have turned into quite a bit of a Peter Griffin/Homer Simpson/Ahmad "Pepe" Farid. So to correct this, I am going to work out like never before. Hopefully you'll see a much fitter me when the semester starts. In fact, I wanted to shave my head so that it would have been cooler to exercise but various people advised me against it. Final word came from Vanessa though, who almost choked on her roti prata and started laughing uncontrallably when I told her about my plans to shave my head. Not surprisingly, she didn't want me to do it, seeing as how I'll be going to have to shave my head when I go into the army in a year or so.

Me: I'm not good looking, not handsome, not athletic, my studies aren't that good, I'm not rich, I'm not charming, I'm arrogant, impulsive and still care a lot for another girl. Overall, I'm way below the standards of th manye guys who are chasing you. So what exactly do you see in me?

You: I see you.

Your 3 simple words. Such an unexpected answer. But I understand what you mean.......
You're a sweet sweet girl.

Ok, that about concludes this rather lengthy post. Will update after the EMRS chalet......

Maybe I'm wrong
Won't you tell me if I'm taking too long
This heart of mine has been hurt before
This time I wanna be sure........

Took some colour test which I came across on "taka michinoku and funaki's blog". Basically you choose the colour that you like the most to the least in order. Here are the relatively accurate results.

Your First Pairing: What You Want and How You Get It

The first two colors you selected make up your first pairing. According to Luscher, these are the colors that you're most drawn to. The order of your selections here are particularly significant. The first color you choose represents the method you rely on to achieve your goals. The second color represents what your actual goal is. As a pair, these first two colors signify your dreams and the methods you employ to make them a reality.

You chose Black first and Blue second. This means you long to be left in peace. You're suffering from the adverse effects of the aspects of your life that you're currently rejecting (which are revealed in your fourth pairing). Out of all test-takers, 2.75% select these two colors in the first and second positions.

Heh, I like peace in my life.

Your Second Pairing: How You're Coping Now

The third and forth color you chose comprise your second pairing. Luscher believed that your second pairing represents your present set of circumstances and how you are responding to them.

Red/Green is your second pairing. In relation to what's going on in your life, you're in a position of authority, and you fear that further progress will be hampered by existing obstacles. Nevertheless, you persevere. Among others who take this test, 3.10% chose this color combination in the third and forth positions.

Am I really in a position of authourity? Hmm......

Your Third Pairing: What You Have in Reserve

Your third pairing is based on the fifth and sixth colors you picked. Luscher believed these are the colors you're indifferent to; you neither prefer them nor reject them. The colors in this pairing represent the behaviors that you're repressing. It's also possible you may not be choosing them because you feel they'd be inappropriate. Once your situation changes, you could draw on these behaviors as you see fit.

Your third pairing is Brown/Gray. According to Luscher's theories, this indicates that you're holding back to avoid conflict. You're willing to become emotionally attached, and you're also able to achieve physical satisfaction from your sex life. 1.96% of test takers share this combination for the fifth and sixth positions.

Cool stuff. Apparently i'm a man of peace with emotional stability and I'm good in bed. Lol. The perfect guy.

Or if you're a negative person and want to put it in a negative way, I'm a horny, emo coward. But of course I'm the former.

Your Fourth Pairing: What You're Rejecting

The final two colors you selected make up your highly significant fourth pairing. According to Luscher's theories, these are the colors you are rejecting, which means you're turning away from the qualities they represent. These colors represent a need that you're repressing due to your life situation. Luscher believed that the colors you like the least reveal the most about you.

Yellow/Violet is your fourth and final pairing. This means you're suppressing your enthusiasm and imagination because you fear that it will lead you to whimsical pursuits. You've felt misled or abused in the past, and because of this you're withdrawn and aloof. You watch others closely to make sure they're trustworthy, which can easily lead you down the path of suspicion. Among other test-takers, 4.36% share this color combination in the seventh and eighth positions.

Ahhh, I do have a overactive imagination. Whimsical pursuits? Like romanticizing every action towards my love interest? Hahaha but no doubt I AM very withdrawn and aloof most of the times. And yes, I do have a rather suspicious nature.

END OF TEST
I thought that I'd be all you need
In your eyes I thought I saw my heaven
And now my heavens gone away
And I'm out in the cold

Wednesday was the start of a very uncharacteristic EMO day for me. Was just feeling very very down somehow, something weighing down on me. Its as if you felt something was not right, and that you have a very bad feeling about something which you do not know and cannot explain. But after I thought about it, I came to the conclusion that the cause of this could be down to a very restless night for me, where I had 5 vivid and not so pleasant dreams, all in that 1 night. One of those dreams/nightmare, I still remember the contents quite clearly. What made it memorable and downright depressing was that though it may just be a dream, the contents of it may very well turn into reality sooner or later, and what anguish I felt then was just a fraction of what I'll feel when it finally does happen. I never actually knew that it would hurt so much. The rainy weather just adds to this damned melancholy.

Nonetheless, a good but wallet-slimming date later, and I'm almost back to normal.

A difficult question posed. Die beautifully, or Live ugly? Or in other words, would you rather die in grace, or live in shame? Be a soldier who sacrifices his life for the country, or be the government who sacrifices the soldiers for his petty gains? Note that, when you choose, you must take religion out of the equation, for then the true brain wrecking choice confronts us. We are after all, only human. We tell people we believe in glory and honour, but in truth, we live by corruption and lies. How many, amongst us, would die for whats right? How many would instead, choose to live as a coward, but live in riches nonetheless? The answer may seem obvious now. Choose the glorified path and die in honour. But let us see what your answer may be, when you are really standing at the crossroads. Are you willing to give up everything that you have lived for, by dying for them as well?

Told you I was EMO........

And I'm starting to believe the thing about having luck in gambling equating to having no luck at all in love. Or maybe I just don't have any luck in both. Love wise, think of Stacy, Vanessa and of course.......... Somehow I just don't seem to have the chance to meet the right girl at all. Sad la, being a victim of my circumstances.

Finally, I'll end this blog post by explaining my blog address and what it means. The Kiss Of Judas, is basically the epitome of BETRAYAL and is used to characterize the word itself. Many know who Judas is but for those of you who don't, Judas was the person who ultimately betrayed Jesus to the Romans, by identifying him with a kiss on the cheek, as was their form of greeting in the past. That is why, it is widely know that while Judas is the betrayer, his kiss represents and characterize the word Betrayal.

Why did I choose such a address? To be honest, I have no idea whatsoever.....

It was you
Who put the clouds around me
It was you
Who tore my pride apart
Only you
Could break my heart in pieces........
It was you
It was you
Who made my sun go down

You know I never meant to see you again
But I only passed by as a friend....yeah
All this time I stayed out of sight
I started wondering why........

Friday was a good day for me. Hahaha, I don't know why, but I was incredibly lucky in "ban luck" that day. And I mean INCREDIBLY. I don't know how much I won that day but Li Qin estimated the amount to be around $50+? Seeing as how all bets were $0.50-$1(with the exception of Shaun), and that only around 6 people played, you can imagine how much luck I had to actually win that amount. Oh if you haven't deduced it by now, I was the banker. Everybody lost to me. Not 1 broke even. And I wore all black too. I admit, I'm rather lucky in gambling this year.

Its been quite some time since I stayed at a hotel/resort but thats mainly due to the lack of time to go for a good and nice proper holiday overseas. So it was nice to finally relax and spend the night at a Ubin resort this past friday with Vanessa, courtesy of her dad. Actually I didn't know anything about this, my intentions were just to have dinner with her and catch up with her. It was a fun evening spent with her, enjoying the facilities at the resort and the best part was walking around with her in the night enjoying the sea breeze and talking, joking, laughing, teasing each other as usual. Man, sometimes I just wish these things could last, and that we needn't worry about mundane things like money....

It is my lifelong dream to actually wear a nice trenchcoat. Not in Singapore of course, that'll just make me the laughing stock of everyone if I do that. But in some european countries, where there is winter, I would just love to wear a trenchcoat. I find it damn cool la. Especially if you can carry the look off. The pic below illustrate the kick ass effect of wearing a good trenchcoat. Of course, one can argue that the pic make him look better in trenchcoats than it really is. But still its my dream to try on one.

Gambit

Ok, so thats about all for this entry. This following week I have 3 days block leave so its time for me to go enjoy myself a little.....sweet.....

Cause I know, I know I never meant to cause you no pain
And I realize I let you down.....ohhh yeah
But I know in my heart of hearts
I know I'm never gonna hold you again...

"Come home with your shield or ON it!"

I've took it farther on the outside
I've took it nearly to the brink
And if you've seen me on the outside
You would have barely seen me breathe

I haven't blogged in some time. CNY is already over. I think I kind of made money during the gambling sessions. I LEARNT MAHJONG! Finally, I can play with my grandma mahjong. I worked for $7 ph for opening a door at Suntec, Arsenal crashed out of all cup competitions and are facing a trophy-less season, I am getting lazier and well, other than that, everything is still normal.

Just a quick update on what's been happening here in EMRS. Ms. Soh gave us the task of preparing for a external roadshow, so we had to do telemarketing, research, sourcing for suppliers etc. And after all that, guess what she told us today? MSC would be conducting their big stock counting from March 16-March 30 so we can't do that external roadshow. But it is without a doubt in my mind that right from the start, she knew we would not be doing the external roadshow and she just wanted us to give us something to do. I mean, its quite hard to forget or ignore a such a major event like the MSC stock counting and she must have known from very early on when this was going to be held.

So now we have to help them build up a good database of suppliers and this time i've been grouped with ben in charge of healthcare. Easy.

Oh well, anyway, it just gives us more time to slack............

Went to watch the movie 300 today. Went "illegally" during TEP hours. Actual plan was to catch the 1130 movie at Northpoint but cause of some delays during the meeting we left NYP only at 1130 and arrived 10 min after the movie had started, despite cabbing down. Slacked around at Northpoint, playing some arcade games before catching the movie.

Now, for my very own movie review. First of all, for those who don't know what 300 is about, its set in ancient times, when Persia was a huge empire who went around conquering lands. So when they decide to try and take over the Sparta(a part of greece), the Spartan king decides to defend against their massive force with a mere legion of 300 of his best troops. By doing this, he is going against the Spartan law as the consul of sparta does not agree with his decision. That is why he has only 300 men instead of the full force of the spartan army. So basically this movie is about how they try to defend their country in a narrow valley which leads to their country. Meanwhile, the queen of sparta has to battle corruption in the consul while trying to convince them to send their full army to aid he husband, the king, in battle.

The plot of the story ain't too bad, its actually a true historical event which was illustrated into a comic which was then adapted into this movie. The fight scenes concentrated on mainly the CGI effects, slow mo-fast mo kind of action. This kind of action scenes are nice but too much of it and it gets slightly tiresome after a while. I prefer those fast paced sword fighting which gets your heart thumping like LOTR. So ya, overall i'll give it 4 stars out of 5, for everything else in that movie is quite good.

Anyway, I've been ranting about in my past few posts in my old blog but I'm still going to rant about it here. THE MARKING SYSTEM OF TEP IS SCREWED UP! So don't beat yourself up too much, cause thats the way TEP works, with the supervisors more biased towards some students and more biased against others. Sucks to know that we're paying school fees for this shit though. It ain't much but I hope the chocolates cheered you up somewhat......

Anyway will end here now........

And if I meet you out tonight
Will you be loving me forever
It's always over after the night
It's always colder after the night
I broke through the ice
She won't be coming to me ever
It's been a year and a night

Alright, new blog address. Going to keep the layout simple. Just the way I like it. So ya, that about concludes my first post in this new blog of mine.
